Jordan Cabo Smith is a Seattle-based multiple-genre musician (artist and producer) who sings raps and plays the keyboards. Growing up, he lived in various cities around the world, where he was influenced by various cultures and sounds. His mainstream musical influences span across genres and time periods, from 90s Hip hop and Pop to R&B Ballads of the 2000s and electronic and African sounds of the 2010s. His sound also lends a lot to jazz and soulful ad-libs whenever he sings, while he enjoys utilizing phrased, fluid, energetic flow when he raps.
Like a lot of musicians, he started his music journey playing in bands in churches and live venues. He also has experience working in technical sound design and music scoring, having worked on games by two video game companies (PlayStation & Electronic Arts) along with various other indie studios across the United States.
All through his life, he has found solace listening to a wide range of music from Nas, Yasiin Bey, Redman, Ye, Damian Marley, and Lauryn Hill, as well as jazz greats like George Duke, Marcus Miller, Victor Wooten, Herbie Hancock.

His dream, musically, is to be able to produce music that can be enjoyed by people who love knowledge and reason while also appealing to the fun side of every human. He jokes that groove can be found through almost anything; it all depends on how you complement it. Love and empathy are also topics he’s found himself writing a lot about.
Jordan Cabo Smith has also spent time working as a radio broadcaster, media producer, voice-over actor, electronics and computer hardware engineer, and most recently, as a software engineer and product manager.
Having grown up in so many cities, his life and musical journey have been intertwined all the way through. He studied Recording Arts at the popular Full Sail University in the Orlando area, Florida. While there, he played keyboards for live events in the city, playing a lot for churches as well.
He also spent a lot of time making music for video games and helping indie artists with their studio sound engineering needs. Looking for a different path and desiring a more immersive entertainment environment, he moved to LA, where he continued playing keyboards and bass guitar for live events. He eventually settled in Seattle, having moved there for work initially.
