Kurt Sutil, 21, is from Tapauá, a municipality in the interior of the Amazonas state, 700 km from the state capital.

Kurt is a representative of rap produced in the Northern region of Brazil, encompassing various styles. With intensity in his voice, he brings in his lyrics portrayals of everyday life, influenced by his Black and Indigenous roots and his dreams. This blend is a hallmark of many of his productions, both in rap and boom bap and trap. Kurt Sutil resides in the Tancredo Neves neighborhood, located in the eastern part of Manaus. His passion for music has driven him to write, produce songs, and create music videos.
Nominated for the ‘Newcomer of the Year Award’ by the Genius Br platform, alongside artists like Teto, Nic Dias, MD Chefe, and others, Kurt Sutil is considered the future of rap by renowned media outlets.
Kurt Sutil has performed on major stages like the Sou Manaus Festival in 2022, and he has also partnered with national brands such as RedBull and local ones like Problema Entretenimento, Freestyle, JayJay, and Tou Collection.
His latest release was his third career album: “Me Pergunta Como Foi Meu Dia” (Ask Me How My Day Was). On this album Kurt Sutil takes us on a journey through his experiences, emotions, and contradictions. The MC invites us to delve into his intimate universe, exploring his experiences as a young Afro-Indigenous artist living away from the city center, in a life further north. Comprising 11 tracks, which on YouTube are accompanied by visualizers, the album delivers a cohesive and thought-provoking body of work. Through a diverse range of musical styles, the MC skillfully matches corresponding sounds to the themes, acting as musical vectors for the emotions and concepts explored.
