Christopher Vanscoder, also known as Heyimchrvs, was born in San Diego, California. Started making music in January 2021 with his first release “So Tragic”.

Starting music as a 15-year-old without knowing anything about music was hard for the artist. His entire life he listened to Pop and EDM but never really got into hip-hop until late 2017 when Christopher discovered rapper “XXXTENTACION”. He instantly fell in love with his music and that kind of sparked interest in hip-hop. When starting his career, the artist marketed mostly through TikTok and was able to gain 500+ fans from a couple of videos promoting the track “So Tragic”. From there he grew his presence on Instagram (@heyimchrvs) and used that to promote the music.

Heyimchrvs‘ music is special because it’s an outlet. He uses his sound to make other people feel good. A lot of the time his lyrics are just filler and focus on making sure the track flows nicely and the song sounds pleasant. The artist currently resides in the hip-hop category but recently he’s been stepping foot into the pop/punk genre, especially with his new song “I don’t Want to know”.
